RESCUE A PUPPYYYYYYYY. FOREVER BE DESENSITIZED TO THE FEELING OF HELPLESSNESS AND DOING NOTHING TO THE ASPCA/SARAH MCLACHLAN COMMERCIALS.

The most perfect sunny summer day was made even better when I ran into a 9 week old chocolate Lab puppy down by the waterfront. His name was Grizzly. I promptly fell in love— he still had the light hazel eyes that puppies do, and on his sable brown coat…swoon.

Puppy fever. Baaaaaaad.

…Now to finish packing to move into the summer sublet that also does not allow dogs.

Grump, grump, grump. Thank god the cat plays fetch.

Dogs Disgustingly Cute Babies Eyes Things I Miss Like A Lost Limb

This is probably one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. I was about to cross a bridge in Venice when this little boy— he couldn’t have been more than 3 years old— ran across it, pulling his Cocker Spaniel after him. I managed to get one shot of them as they beat a hasty retreat, and I had to run after them for it. I think it was definitely worth it. Welcome to Venice. XOXO

Dog-sitting for the next few days; Ginger’s a Lab/Pitty mix, and is SUPA-CUTE. She’s followed me around all day— first, we played outside, then she napped next to me on the porch while I read and ate lunch. She’s got a great little toothy under-bite of a grin— can you see it?
